This past weekend, I had an absolutely extraordinary dining experience. After about an hour's drive north, a small group of us arrived in Tarrytown, NY at the Blue Hill restaurant at Stone Barns. After being seated, and before being served our eight-course meal with wine pairings, we indulged in the Worker Bee cocktail. What transpired over the next five hours at that table was simply magical. The restaurant did an incredible job of accommodating all of our dietary needs and the food was out of this world. I can confidently say that this meal really comes in as a close second to my favorite meal of all times (read about that here and here).
