When we were in Australia we had the most amazing lunch at Quay (read more here). We had heard so much talk about the infamous "Snow Egg" that even after six delicious courses, I knew the best was yet to come. The deep fried seasonally flavored ice cream (ours was Jackfruit) sits on top of what I can only describe as a slushy ICEE which is then dusted with powdered sugar. Basically, it's heaven in dessert form. Although more amazing desserts followed, the snow egg stole the show.
