A Simple Stacked Snack
Becoming the next Giada De Laurentiis will never be in my cards. Family and friends keep promising that practice makes perfect when it comes to cooking but I'm just not that good at it. Being that I do love to entertain and always have friends over, I'm really big on simple snacks and finger foods. Things that generally don't require a whole lot of stove-top time work best for me. Since I've been trying to incorporate much more fruits and veggies in my daily diet I decided to spruce up my usually hummus and pita routine. Adding sliced cucumbers and chopped peppers to the duo turned out to be quite the treat. Toasting the mini pitas and topping with cracked pepper finished the job.
